I’m Steven Wilson.
I bring a practitioner’s perspective to technology—and an author’s instinct for making it understandable.
My background spans more than 35 years in technology, with experience across organizations large and small. Advanced education and professional certifications inform that work, alongside the lessons that come from building, operating, and explaining complex systems.
Today, that perspective takes several forms: advisory on privacy and resilience, practical AI education, independent research and commentary, and projects that test what emerging tools can do.
I also write about the outdoors. The subject changes, but the discipline is familiar: observe carefully, understand the details, and share something another person can use.
